This is a wonderful top GEM piece!
Exceptional surfaces are clean overall. Only a few minor frost breaks/tiny ticks can be seen using a strong glass. The texture is soft and satiny. A full booming luster beams from all over. Both sides are a brilliant original gold color. There is a microscopic grease dot on the obverse, otherwise there are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is superb!
PCGS 168, NGC 159, CAC 41. The last PCGS CAC MS66 1901 to sell in auction brought $1,200.00 02/2020. This is a great gold buy for seriously UNDER $5,000.00. This date and grade are not as common as your might expect!
