What a coin! This coin clearly is closer to MS68 then MS67.
Only one microscopic copper stain can be seen if you use a strong glass. Otherwise the surfaces are super satiny and are clean. An intense glowing luster beams boldly from all over. Both sides are a gorgeous original pale orange deep yellow gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and are frosty. The eye appeal is SUPER!
PCGS 97, NGC 82, CAC 36. PCGS has graded 10 in MS67+ with only 2 higher (1 beaned). The lone PCGS CAC MS68 piece sold for $24,000.00 in 2018. Back to the piece offered: the last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $4,454.00 02/2020. We doubt if there are even 5 coins that are beaned. Wasn’t too long ago that MS67’s were trading at these levels. These are rare!
