WOW, WOW, AND WOW! This coin is an amazing SUPER HIGH END GEM. We admit to resubmitting it-obviously PCGS has slammed the door on any upgrade.

Remarkable surfaces have superior cleanliness. This coin is a lesson in what the dreaded right reverse should look like. Of course the Roman Finish is unbroken and is superb. Both sides are a beautiful deep original yellow gold color. The luster is strong too. Every detail fully struck. The eye appeal is phenomenal!

PCGS 3, NGC 9, CAC 2. PCGS has graded only 1 coin higher-which we placed into a major collection years ago! The ONLY coin ever to sell via auction brought $88,125.00 11/2018 and is now off the market in a major gold collection. We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this date and grade.

An interesting note: take away the other PCGS CAC coin, and NONE have traded since 2006 at auction (In 2006 one brought $47,150.00). THESE ARE EXCEEDINGLY RARE-THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST “SILENT” STOPPER DATES IN ALL OF NUMISMATICS!  There have been more more 1913 Nickels and 1804 $1 sell in the last 20 years then this coin!
