We assure you, this coin is closer to an MS65 then an MS64!
Only a light scuff/frost break on the left obverse is all that is keeping this coin from a full MS65 designation. Save that small issue, overall the coin is clean. The dreaded right reverse has only a tiny tick or two visible via a glass. The luster is above average. Both sides are a delightful original yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. All of the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 605, NGC 638, CAC 129. PCGS has graded 58 in MS64+. The last MS64+ PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $2,880.00 10/2018. Prior to that one brought $3,000.00 03/2018. An MS65 would cost you at least $12,000.00-if you could even find one. This is a great coin to add to any choice set!
