Do not consider this a common date. The CAC bean makes it rare-really rare!
This also happens to be one of the absolute cleanest $2.5 Indians we have seen in some time. The surfaces are satiny smooth. Even the dreaded right reverse is seriously above average in cleanliness (and that is with using a strong glass). A moderate luster does bring out the beautiful and totally original gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations of ANY size. All of the details are exceptionally struck and just ooze with frost. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
PCGS 776, NGC 606, CAC 75 (only one bean is higher). Published pricing and auctions are all over the place. We paid right around the current WHOLESALE bids. Plus, you won’t find many of ANY date looking this good in MS65!
