$20 1853 ASSAY 900 PCGS MS63

What a great coin. We unhesitatingly grade this coin MS63+. Too bad PCGS does not agree. We do NOT have loose standards. In fact we purchased this coin from one of the sharpest collectors out there. He buys only really neat stuff! Neat surfaces show just a few very trivial ticks/lines. Nothing is serious.An intense high voltage luster beams boldly from all over. There is a small grease dot at 8:00 on the obverse. There are no flecks or copper spots. Every detail is fully struck and stands out. We could stare at the reverse forever! The eye appeal is like the coins quality-wicked cool! PCGS 35, NGC 26, CAC 1. This coin last sold for $24,000.00 03/2018. Apparently this collector found a bigger coin that caught his eye. We’re happy, we have never owned one of these and this is a SUPER coin!
