$20 1857-S PCGS MS67 CAC SPIKED SHIELD SS CENTRAL AMERICA

What a mind blowing GEM. We can not believe this coin was lying on the ocean floor for over 150+ years!  Legend Numismatics is proud to own and offer this magnificent and extremely historical GEM TYI $20. We shake our heads in bewilderment how this coin remains in such a phenomenal state of preservation. Unbelievable surfaces are exactly that. Even using a strong glass and skimming the satiny surfaces for a few minutes will yield you NO imperfections-not even tiny ones. A full glowing luster beams boldly from all over. Both sides have a crisp and deeper orange gold on the rims that opens into lighter yellow gold centers. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and every detail are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is really neat and then some! PCGS 8, NGC 0, CAC 3. It should be known that the Bold S Type has 2 MS67’s that are CAC and that is it (so 4 of the 8 are beaned). We have spoken to our friends at the Ship Wreck Group and they have told us with about 98% are now graded, only 4 MS67’s have come from this dive (one made MS67+).  The chances of any more surfacing are slim as many of the pieces were scattered around the ocean floor and the diving is completed. NOTE: A PCGS MS67 CAC did sell in auction for $152,750.00  way back in 08/2014. Legend did sell TWO others this year. As far as we know, this is (and can be) the ONLY MS67 for sale (out side of the MS67+ which is in a Type set). This really is a once in a life time opportunity!
