$20 1858 PCGS AU58

If you put tape over the grade, you would call it an MS60. It is that HIGH END (no promise it will ever grade higher). This coin has it all, the looks, the technical qualities, everything! Remarkable surfaces are just that. Overall, they do appear clean and smooth. Only when using a strong glass can you see the widely scattered ticks and a few light lines. There definitely are NO whacks or distracting marks.A wonderful strong luster beams boldly from all over. Both sides are a brighter totally original gold color (NO dirt anywhere). There are NO spots discolorations on the high points for any wear. Clearly, this coin has never been dipped or messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and are well struck. The eye appeal is really great! PCGS 33, NGC 96, CAC 11. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $10,280.00 02/2018. Even though we have not seen it, we’d challenge this coin to a grade off with it. We simply cannot imagine a better AU58 (why PCGS did not + it is a wonder). This is  a great  1858 $20.
