$20 1865-S PCGS MS62 BROTHER JONATHAN

$13,500.00

We love these. Legend will buy every one we can find still int he ORIGINAL holders-especially if they are CAC (it is rare to find the original holders with a CAC bean). This coin also happens to be EXTREMELY choice and VERY HIGH END!

Considering this genuine treasure coin was stuck underwater for 100 plus years, it is remarkably preserved. Both sides have some very light chatter consisting of frost breaks and a few small light hits (you need a strong glass to see them).  The surfaces are satiny and do offer a strong luster. Interestingly, the rims are a deeper orange while the centers are a lighter yellow gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 108, NGC 39, CAC 9. Do NOT let the pops fool you, many have been cracked out and resubmitted (which is why we buy only ones in the ORIGINAL holders). The last one to sell in major public auction brought $10,200.00 03/2019 and was NOT CAC.  The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $16,450.00 08/2014. There is no artificial value here-these have actually crept up in value since they hit the market years ago. Every year now we fewer and fewer offered in ANY grade (especially in the original holder). Here is your chance to own a genuine coin from a long lost treasure ship! Seriously, how cool is this coin?  These are far rarer then the SS Central America coins.

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
