$20 1865-S PCGS MS63 BROTHER JONATHAN
We love these. We buy every one we can find still in its ORIGINAL holder. This coin also happens to be VERY choice and HIGH END (and in the original holder)!
Considering this genuine treasure coin was stuck underwater for 100 plus years, it is remarkably preserved. Both sides have some very light chatter consisting of frost breaks and a few small hits. The surfaces are satiny and do offer a strong luster. Interestingly, the rims are a deeper orange while the centers are a lighter yellow gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 174, NGC 59, CAC 20. Do NOT let the pops fool you, many have been cracked out and resubmitted (which is why we buy only ones in the ORIGINAL holders). We could not find ANY records of ANY PCGS CAC MS63’s ever selling via auction. A NON CAC piece was the last to sell publicly and that brought $14,100.00 10/2018. The PCGS CAC price guide is $20,000.00.
This is a fresh coin having been placed by us a with a customer in 2011!
Here is your chance to own a genuine coin from a long lost treasure ship! This coin is in the ORIGINAL holder.
WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE
