$20 1875 PCGS MS64

We have not had a TY II in years. They just do not come nice enough for us to buy. Only the lone MS67 for the Type comes how we really want them too! This coin is very nice and is above average. Exceptional surfaces are clean overall. Upon more tougher inspection with a glass, you will find some ticks, giggles, and a few tiny frost breaks. NONE are serious at all. No question the surfaces still have their “original skin” and this coin has never been dipped or messed with. Both sides are a beautiful and totally original gold/pale orange gold mix.There are NO discolorations or spots. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are very well struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 3, NGC 3, CAC 2. PCGS has graded NONE higher (NGC has an MS66). The last auction record for ANY 1875 PCGS MS64 selling-was for $40,250.00 way back in 2007. Think these are rare? The current Collectors Universe Value is $48,000.00. If you collect better gold or are building a great Type set, this is a coin your not going to see again. Think about this, for the Type PCSG has graded only 55 coins MS64 while CAC has beaned maybe 18. Opportunity knocks loud here!
