This coin to us appears so high end, we did submit it to PCGS for a +. We totally disagree with not + it. Regardless, its one of the BEST MS64’s you will ever see!
Just a few very teenie and widely scattered ticks keep this coin from being designated a full MS65. There are NO major problems anywhere. A few teenie toning dots are enhanced by the image. The surfaces are satiny like and emit a full booming luster. Totally ORIGINAL shades of pinkish gold mix with yellow gold all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have excellent full strikes. The eye appeal is superior!
PCGS 11, NGC 10, CAC 2. PCGS has graded ONLY ONE coin higher (a MS65) while NGC has 2. This is the first one of these we have ever liked enough to own. Keep in mind, the lone MS65 sold for $207,000.00 1/10 Heritage.
