If you notice, we do not handle many coins graded LESS than MS63 that are $20 Libs. Most look just awful. At first glance, this coin is nice and is HIGH END. We bet pre certification days this coin was called at least a MS63.
Seriously above average surfaces are really far better than what you see for the grade. The cleanliness is remarkable. Even using a strong glass there are no surprises-this coin is super clean. A full booming luster beams from all over. Both sides have GEM Original gold color. There is a small patch of toning or Mint Grease at 5:00 on the obverse (it is original). No question this coin has never been messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and sharply struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 496, NGC 209, CAC 20. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $4,700.00 02/2015. Even a NON CAC PCGS sold for $3,422.00 in 11/2020. We assure you, this coin is far superior to most we have ever seen.
