There are MS64+, then there is this, MS64+. The quality is really knocking on MS65’s door here!
Overall, the surfaces offer nothing more then a few frost breaks/ticks. We used a strong glass and found nothing to disappoint us. There is a micro dot grease mark well hidden on the obverse. The luster is surprisingly strong. Both sides area GEM original gold color. This coin clearly has NOT been dipped or messed with in any way. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 140, NGC 87, CAC 14. PCGS has graded only 8 in MS64+. CAC having beaned only 14 makes a powerful statement for how this date does not come. There is only one MS65+ higher which is of course impounded in a major set.
If you like better $20 gold, this is a great coin to own!
