$20 1894 PCGS MS64+

For sure this is not your average MS64. We fully agree grading an MS64+! You need a strong glass to see the few dings and ticks which are scattered all over. None are serious or stand out. The surfaces have a thick satiny texture. A strong satiny luster beams from all over. Totally original (undipped) colors of deeper yellow/green gold are evenly spread all over. There are some small Mint grease stains on the reverse (which are as struck). Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 164, NGC 134, CAC 14. PCGS has graded 14 in MS64+. There are 3 graded MS65 (the last one to sell in auction-a PCGS CAC piece brought $22,325.00 01/2015). Prior to this coin appearing, the last PCGS CAC MS64+ to sell in auction brought $6,058.00 in 2012! A regular PCGS CAC MS64 sold for $4,320.00 05/2018. We never see these.
