This is a VERY HIGH END piece!
The surfaces are clean overall. Only when using a strong glass can you find some scattered minor ticks. The surfaces also have a thick satiny appearance. The luster is a glowing thick satiny type. Both sides are a killer original pale greenish gold/deeper orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and are frosty. The eye appeal is pretty neat!
PCGS 455, NGC 278, CAC 33, The last PCGS example to sell in auction brought $3,240.00 11/20-and it had NO bean! This is NOT as “common” of date as you might think in true near GEM condition.
