$20 1904-S PCGS MS65+

WOW, what a HIGH END SUPERB GEM Liberty $20! Only one tiny lint mark in the left obverse field is all that could keep this coin from  MS66 grade. You really need a glass to see it.  It really is that clean and smooth all over. Both sides are a pleasing and totally original deeper gold color. There is a touch of light toning-just a hint. The reverse has some light patches of greenish gold. A full booming luster really makes this coin special. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and are very well struck. The eye appeal is really nice! PCGS 238, NGC 299, CAC 20. PCGS has graded 13 in MS65+. The last 65+ to sell in auction was a PCGS NON CAC which which brought $9,400.00 in 02/2014. We do believe someone was trying really hard for an MS66. The next step up does NOT exist! CAC has graded 0 in MS66. Pretty powerful statement as to how these do NOT come!
