As soon as we saw this coin we felt shivers down our spine. There was no way we could pass up a SUPERB GEM HIGH RELIEF looking this good!
This coin is amazingly clean and smooth. There are some very minor (microscopic) frost breaks-not marks you can see only if you look really hard using a strong glass. The surfaces are satiny and do have a strong glowing type luster. The color is a totally ORIGINAL deeper yellow gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are struck in High Relief, and yes, this coin has that monster “deep dish” appearance. No question the rims really standout. The eye appeal is super too!
PCGS 73, NGC 52, CAC 17. The last PCGS CAC Wire RIM High Relief to sell in auction brought $90,000.00. Legend has not owned a HR Wire rim in PCGS MS66 CAC since 2018. We have tried to buy the few that came up for sale.
