$20 1909/8 PCGS MS64

We have not owned or handled one of these in MS64 since 2006! Reason, until we saw this coin, we have not seen any we liked. For the date this is actually a HIGH END coin.

Exceptionally nice surfaces really are just that. Even when using a strong glass, all you can find are super tiny and scattered ticks, no hits or serious problems. An unusually strong cartwheel like luster radiates from all over. Both sides are a beautiful and totally original gold color. There are are no spots. There are some hints of toning on the high points (or dirty-look as called by some). Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is very pleasing!

PCGS 108, NGC 30, CAC 9. The last CAC piece to sell in auction was back in 01/2014. That piece (in a weak sale) brought $12,925.00. This should be strong proof this date and grade are not readily available.  In fact, with CAC beans, there are ONLY 5 higher.

If you are building a choice Saint set, this is a wonderful and tougher coin to find!
