We have not owned or even handled one of these since 2008. This is our second coin in two months. Surprising given the mintage, This coin was an easy buy, it is HIGH END!
There are a few microscopic ticks and lines that you need a strong glass to see. To the naked eye the coin does appear clean. The texture is thick satiny type. A fair luster glows all over. Both sides are an original heavy gold color with pale greenish gold highlights. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
