$20 1916S PCGS MS66

No question this piece is totally original and is nice! Superior surfaces are extra clean and are satiny in texture. Only with a very strong glass can you see a few scattered toning dots (2 on the reverse). A strong “thick” luster shows off the even the deeper original gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. There are some light frost breaks on the high points. Regardless, this is a VERY nice MS66. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 158, NGC 144, CAC 25. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher (both MS66+). The last PCGS MS66 CAC piece to sell in auction brought $9,987.50 01/2014. These certainly are NOT as easy to find as the pops let you think. Can’t beat the value of this one!
