$20 1920 PCGS MS64+

$15,500.00

Legend Numismatics has built the #1+2 Saint Registry sets (Simpson and Half Dome). We know how each date comes. We’ve seen more GEM Saints then most dealers!

This coin is actually better looking then at least one of the MS65’s! We passed up buying that particular coin for the Simpson Collection 3X-and we have NO regrets. 1920 Saints are famous for coming plain old miserable. This coin clearly is seriously HIGH END!

For a 1920, this coin has surprisingly strong and booming luster. There are some tiny frost breaks and small scuffs, but nothing big to hurt the grade. Both sides are a totally ORIGINAL even gold color. There is a faint touch of original orange toning by the rims. No spots or discolorations are visible. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have really exceptional strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 1081, NGC 412, CAC 81. PCGS has graded only 81 coins MS64+.  The last one to sell in auction brought $12,000.00 4/20. The one to sell before it brought $13,200.00 01/2010. NO question this coin ranks as one of the FINEST MS64+. We can see the real MS64+ pieces (like this) one day being worth $50,000.00+. A PCGS CAC MS65 would easily fetch $250,000.00! There just are NOT many nice 1920 Saints out there.

No kidding around, this coin is a monster (but do not count on it making MS65)!
