$20 1922S PCGS MS64+

With this magnificent GEM, Legend Numismatics has now bought and sold a MS64 (several), MS64+, MS65, and BOTH MS66’s! As you can see, we are huge fans of this date,. We feel very strongly it has been overlooked. When we saw this coin in a dealers box at Baltimore, it stopped us dead in our tracks. Obviously, we now own it! Exceptional surfaces are clean overall. However, only with a really strong glass can you detect a few ticks. For a 1922S, this coin has a seriously above average luster. What really caught out eyes-the gorgeous intense original gold/deep gold colors. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous! PCGS 360, NGC 237, CAC 38 (6.3%). PCGS has graded 42 in MS64+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $14,100.00 back on 02/2014. Do NOT let the pops fool you, this is a very tough date to find nice. The next step up would cost you around $50,000.00 if you could find one. Now is a great time to be buying these better date Saints. Gold has not made its main run so demand is fierce yet. Opportunity knocks loud here!
