$20 1923 PCGS MS64+

We handpicked this coin from a major gold dealers “PQ” box. He claims to have tried it a few times for an MS65. We agree with its current grade. It is not quite an MS65 (these geniuses can dream though). This is definitely NOT your typical 1923. It has surfaces that are way superior to most that you will ever see. There are VERY few even tiny ticks. The texture is semi satiny. No question this coin has never been dipped or messed with. The color is an original deep gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and have remarkable sharp strikes. The eye appeal is really nice! PCGS 4611 NGC 2904, CAC 124. CAC is extremely tough on how its grades these (which is why they have beaned only 8 MS65’s out of 622 graded between PCGS and NGC).
