We could not believe our eyes when we saw this magnificent GEM. For a 1925S, it really is SUPER HIGH END! We bough this coin from one of the best crack out dealers who gave up on it.
Remarkable surfaces have just a few trivial scattered tiny ticks. If this were a commoner date it could have been graded an MS65 (NO promises). A full booming and glowing type luster beams boldly from all over. The color is a brilliant yellow gold. There are no spots or discolorations anywhere. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 24, NGC 19, CAC 3. PCGS has graded only 3 coins in MS64+. with just 5 higher. There is no record of any MS64+ ever selling via auction. It is critical to note the last GEM PCGS MS65 (NO CAC) to sell in auction brought $218,500.00 01/2010! There has been nothing higher offered in at last 7 years! The last PCGS/CAC regular MS64 was sold way back in 2012 for $44,000.00. There is NO question ALL the published prices for this date are incorrect.
