We have handled a few top quality 1875CC 20C pieces. This coin certainly ranks in the upper end of quality.
Superior surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. Even using a strong glass you will find NO imperfections of any size, any where. A moderate satiny like luster beams from all over. Both sides are a natural champagne/original white with blue/green/gold rim highlights. Miss Liberty and every detail are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 28, NGC 31, CAC 12 (we’re sure there are resubmissions). This is the ONLY PCGS MS65+ graded. Obviously it has never been in auction. It is important to note the last regular MS65 PCGS CAC piece sold for $16,450.00 04/2015 while the last PCGS MS66 CAC piece brought $49,937.00 04/2014. As you can see, these do NOT appear with any frequency.
