Recently, we took this coin in trade for a MS65 1834 25C. It was easy to do, since the coin is so nice and we sold it to him a few years ago. We always want to get nice coins back!
High End quality. Overall, the surfaces are clean and have a smooth appearance. A strong luster highlights a patchy attractive mix of champagne/blue/pale lavender/deep gold colors on both sides. There are slight traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 38, NGC 31. These definitely do NOT appear with any frequency! The last one to sell in a major auction brought $9,775.00 07/08. Opportunity knocks loud here!
