25C 1837 PCGS MS64

$11,950.00

VERY HIGH END quality. This coin looks BETTER then a few MS65’s we have seen! You have to look really hard with a very strong glass to find a few microscopic ticks. Overall, the surfaces are satiny, smooth, and clean. Also, with a strong glass you can see some minor die clashing lines (Mint made). The luster is good and there are faint hints of semi-proolike mirrors when you twirl the coin. Both sides have a wonderful patina of blue framing the peripheries and opening into a purple/pale burnt orange/deep gold brown color. A tiny toning dot is visible at 1:00 on the obverse rim. This coin is NOT dull or drab. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have crisp sharp strikes. The eye appeal is beautiful! PCGS 24, NGC 26, CAC 6. The last PCGS CAC 64 to sell in auction brought$11,163.00 10/2015. The coin offered here has been off the market for several years. It really looks great. Keep in mind, an MS65 (if you can find one) would cost OVER $30,000.00! This coin is a great addition to any choice or GEM set.
