25C 1862 PCGS PR65+ CAMEO

What a terrific GEM Proof. We rarely ever see any, let alone see them so nice. The quality is SUPER HIGH END.

Really deep mirrors bean boldly from all over. The mirrors are extremely clear, clean, and have a killer reflection. When you twirl the coin you see a river of liquid mirrors flowing all over. There is alight pinch of totally original pale reddish gold spread around. The coin is still mostly silvery. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted a silvery white and are fully struck. The eye appeal is great!

ONLY 550 were minted. PCGS 2, NGC 3, CAC 4 (obvious resubmission). PCGS has graded only this coin in PR65+ Cameo. There are only 4 finer. It says oodles how after 30+ years of operations there possibly are only 7 coins between PR65-66! Why isn’t this Civil War GEM $7,500.00-or even $10,000.00?  The current Collectors Universe value is $5,750.00. We feel strongly as time goes on, the market will wake up and correct the value.
