These are not so easy to find with out dark or drab toning. We do NOT think this coin was dipped-it has no haze.
Boldly prooflike mirrors beam more from the obverse and are more semi-prooflike on the reverse. We do not question this coins designation as an MS. The surfaces are surprisingly clean and problem free. There is what looks like a spot-but it is on the holder. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do enjoy thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is really beautiful!
ONLY 8000 were ever minted. PCGS 16, NGC 14, CAC 4. The last one to sell in auction brought $2,415.00 Goldberg 06/2013. This coin was obtained by us from a picky collector (you would never believe what he traded it for)!
