25C 1887 PCGS MS67+

There is no question this beyond SUPERB GEM deserves to be ranked as the second finest 1887 MS 25C. We do not understand why the marketplace is so harsh on GEM MS Seated coins. Pieces like this Quarter are genuinely rare in any state of MS. This coin is in the op 2% graded-and is no where near $10,000.00. Time hopefully will correct this. We studies this coin long and hard with a strong glass. We are pleased to report-the surfaces are absolutely pristine! They are also slightly satiny and slightly semi-prooflike (you do have  to twirl the coin a little). A strong luster enhances the moderate mix of totally original colors of  faint rose/pale navy/pale purple/blue  that swirl all over. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is pretty awesome! PCGS 14, NGC 9, CAC 8. PCGS has graded one higher. This coin last sold in auction for $4,935.00 01/2017. We paid more than that! Someone should have kept it-these are stupid by cheap-no make that ridiculously stupid cheap.
