25C 1887 PCGS PR67+ CAMEO

This coin clearly is a superstar!  No question the quality is VERY HIGH END.

Deep mirrors beam powerfully from all over. The mirrors exhibit exceptional clarity and are super clean. Even using a strong glass, you will see more lines on the holder then the coin. When you twirl the coin the mirrors look like a freshly formed sheet of ice. A thick band of toning frames the peripheries. The colors are a totally original pale navy/plum. Of course the centers offer strong cameo contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are thickly coated with frost. The eye appeal is fantastic!

Only 710 pieces were minted. PCGS 1, NGC 6, CAC 2 This is the ONLY PCGS PR67+ Cameo graded. Hard to imagine there is a PCGS PR68 Cameo CAC out there. Regardless, this coin will be a superstar in any set or even a box of 20. There is no record for this coin selling in auction. The current Collectors Universe GUESSTIMATE is $9,000.00. We think that is way off base. Our guess is the PR 68 is easily worth over $20,000.00. We predict in a short 2-3 years coins like this will be worth much more (no promise).
