We have kept this coin on our desk taking it out every day to marvel its charm. It is both VERY HIGH END and gorgeous!
Exceptional surfaces are clean and have thick satiny like texture. Even when using a strong glass tiny events are hard to find. The luster is good and makes the colors stand out. A ring of lime/blue frames the peripheries all over. The centers are deeper gold with some white. All of the colors are original and we speculate they came from an album. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and are sharply struck. As we said before, we keep this coin out to marvel its gorgeous eye appeal!
PCGS 41, NGC 18, CAC 11 (seems a bit high, there probably was a resub or two). The last example to sell in auction was HIGH END but lacked the color this coin has. That coin brought $2,820.00 01/2017. The coin we are offering here has been off the market for many years.
