No question this coin was stored very carefully since the day it left the Mint. Very pretty natural toning has formed around the cameoed devices!
1909 is not a date know to come fully cameoed. This coin is FULLY cameoed and has beautiful colors. The mirrors are deep, clear, clean, and have strong reflectivity. A moderate mix of ORIGINAL green/gold/pale blue/violet/light tangerine colors all swirl like a disco ball all over. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick creamy white frosting. The eye appeal is very pretty!
ONLY 650 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 10, NGC 15, CAC 1. NO CAC pieces have ever sold in auction. You can’t find many post 1900 Barber PR Cameos of any date or grade. We bought this coin right and will pass the deal on to you!
