What a SUPERB piece! We really can’t take our eyes off of it. No question this piece is closer to MS67 then MS66!
Remarkable surfaces are just that. Only using a strong glass can you find some tiny and minor lines/ticks. They do NOT stand out. There is no question this coin was dipped long ago-but wow! Did this coin ever turn out a killer. You can see the explosive luster from across the room. There is a trace of semi-prooflike surface. Both sides are GEMMY white. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is stunning!
PCGS 13, NGC 9, CAC 5. This is the lone MS66+ graded. A mere three coins are graded finer at PCGS. It is more then obvious MS 66+ piece like this have become way too cheap. If you can’t afford an entire set, do a MS65/66 year set. Opportunity knocks loud here!
