A real WOWZER of a Quarter! Save for a WELL HIDDEN TICK on the obverse, this coin ranks as an impressive MS66.8++.
Sensational surfaces are satiny smooth and are pretty much perfect. We even used a powerful glass and all we found was the small hidden tick on the obverse. A moderate glowing luster really makes the colors and strike stand out. Both sides have a deep original russet patch that blends into deep off white colors. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally well struck with all the rivets visible (that’s hard to find). She stands out boldly. The eye appeal is gorgeous!
PCGS 42, NGC 16, CAC 12. PCGS has graded 7 in MS66+FH. While there are possibly 8 MS67FH’s graded-NONE have been CAC’d yet (surprising). According to our records, we have not handled an MS66+ since 2015. We sold that coin for just north of $10,000.00. You will be impressed by this beautiful SUPERB GEM coin!
