This is a remarkable FULL GEM MS RED coin! We do not buy MS66 RD 2C unless they stand out. We really like this piece!
Superior surfaces are super clean and smooth. Only when using a strong glass can you see a few microscopic toning dots on the reverse (they are nothing that hurts the coin). A strong luster beams boldly from all over. The color is an even crisp GEM Original RED. There is NO fading. All the details are sharply struck and are frosty. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 13, NGC 0, CAC 19 (NGC does not break out the varieties). We disagree with the majority of published prices. TRUE GEM RED coins like this never appear. This is NOT a so/so weak red. This piece will be a great coin to add to any GEM MS 2C Red Collection.
