Moderate mirrors (more typical for the date) beam evenly from all over. You do have to tilt the coin a bit to see some slight reflection. This date typically does not come with strong mirrors There are ZERO imperfections of any kind. Both sides are a full totally original GEM Red color. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is fabulous!
ONLY 625 were ever minted. PCGS 20, NGC 18, CAC 7. An interesting note: CAC has beaned only 9 total red proofs. Two were PR64’s. We also doubt there are 7 PR65’s. The last one to sell in auction brought $7,280.00 11/2017. Another brought $5,904.00 01/2017. The current PCGS CAC value is $5,620.00. So NONE have been sold via auction the last 3 years.
Forget about the pops. They are too high. This is the “silent” stopper for the series. Opportunity knocks loud here!
