We love this coin! It is an old friend, having sold in our May 2018 Regency Auction, lot 376, where we described it as: “This is a SPECTACULAR GEM Proof! Extremely deep mirrors beam with a superb mint RED brilliance. Sharply struck with fully frosted devices that contrast wonderfully against the ultra deep mirror reflection!”

Only 600 were struck. PCGS 4, NGC 0, CAC 5. This is the ONLY PR65+ RD CAM. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $12,500. Only a handful are finer, with the most recent PR66 RD CAM selling for $16,450 in June 2014. What a great coin with an exceptional eye appeal that is destined to be included in the FINEST of Proof 2 cent pieces!
