What a beautiful Princess! Truly a borderline GEM if we have ever seen and very HIGH END for the grade.
The fields are boldly semi-prooflike, offering a very bold and deep reflection all over. The devices are needle sharp in their execution and stand out in exceptional relief against the smooth, icy reflective lustrous surfaces. The contrast is vivid. There are a few tiny ticks but they are mostly hidden in the bold die polish lines that resulted in the PL reflection. Both sides are a GEM gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. The eye appeal is truly something very special to behold.
PCGS 15, NGC 12, CAC 8. The last record of a PCGS CAC piece selling via auction is for $14,100.00 09/2018. It happened to be this coin. Prior to that, nothing had been around since 2015. The current Collectors Universe value is $16,000.00. All we can say is, here you get an obsolete coin, a coin in VERY HIGH END condition, a coin that is 161 years old, and a coin that is gorgeous. Our asking price just seems way too cheap!
