Haven’t bought one of these really right in a very long time. Fortunately, a dealer needed to raise a little money!
Lightly prooflike surfaces reveal just a few mior light ticks and lines. Overall, this piece is cleaner than most MS pieces you’ll see. We do believe this coin was light dipped long ago-but that does not affect its grade or looks. Miss Liberty and the details are fully frosted and have great strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous and flashy!
Only 1300 were minted. PCGS 22, NGC 53. The last one to appear in major auction sold for $3,220.00 08/07 Heritage. Prior to that, the sales were for $3,450.00 and $4,140.00. These have over corrected for sure!
