We are amazing at how original this coin is. It obviously was stored some where really secure since it left the bank 143 years ago!
Thick satiny surfaces are clean to the naked eye. Even using a strong glass all you can find are a scattered tick/line or two and a few light frost breaks. The luster is thick and satiny also. Both sides are a totally original deep gold color with orange gold highlights hugging the rims. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and all of the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
