$3 1879 PCGS MS64

This is a beautiful piece that displays strong contrast and is HIGH END! Fully prooflike surfaces actually display strong mirrors. You do not have to tilt or imagine the mirrors have strong flash. The surfaces have just a few tiny scattered ticks-no serious issues. Besides bold mirrors, there is a powerful luster. Both sides are a GEMMY original yellow/pale orange gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. We also feel this is a totally original coin-not a dipped out piece (that we see so many of). Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and are exceptionally well struck. The eye appeal is super! Only 300 were minted. PCGS 127, NGC 96, CAC 23.
