We especially love this date, grade, and the whopping mintage of 500 pieces! Fully proolike surfaces are super smooth and are  well mirrored all over. Even using a strong glass you will find NO imperfections anywhere. Both sides are a gorgeous even deeper gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is super! ONLY 500 were minted. PCGS 19, NGC 33, CAC 3. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought$11,500.00 08/2011. Even in NGC the most recent piece sold was a non CAC which brought $11,163.00 04/2016. We rarely ever see these offered in such a pristine condition like this. Think about it, ONLY 500 minted, its 131 years old, and its an obsolete gold coin. Doesn’t get much better then that for rarity!
