$3 1882 PCGS MS64
$14,500.00
When these are found original, not scrubbed up, or puttied, they can look so terrific!
This coin has definitely NOT been messed with in any way. The surfaces do have some typical LIGHT lines and a tick or two-but none that stand out or make this coin seem low end. A full booming luster coupled with fully prooflike surfaces show off the coins beautiful yellow gold color. There are NO discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are heavily frosted and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is awesome!
ONLY 1500 pieces were minted for regular circulation. PCGS 23, NGC 16. We think the pops are incorrect (too high). The last example to sell in major public auction brought $13,800.00 in 05/09 Goldberg. This is certainly not a date or grade you see offered with any frequency.
