$3 1888 PCGS MS65

Have not handled a 1888 GEM in while. This colorful GEM was worth the wait! Superior surfaces are are clean and satiny smooth. Only when using a strong glass can you see a few light ticks/lines. Nothing stands out. A full luster beams from all over. This coin has exceptional original colors. The peripheries are moderate reddish gold while the enters are a deeper gold color. If you use a glass, you can also see tiny TONING dots scattered about. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are super frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous! PCGS 87, NGC 33, CAC 10. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $12,338.00 01/2017 (Legend Auction). This is NOT that coin. In fact, this coin is quite fresh t the market. With gold on the rise more people will be buying better gold coins and we expect more to build Gold Type sets.
