Can cheap get any cheaper? We sure hope not. This coin is a marvelous dirt cheap 149 year old GEM coin!
Decent mirrors (for an 1871) do have some flash. The mirrors are exceedingly clean. Even using a strong glass there is NOTHING to find. A pretty original mellow mix of pale green/rose/gold colors swirls all over. You do not have to imagine the colors. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have lots of frost. The eye appeal is sweet like candy!
PCGS 47, NGC 39, CAC 28. The current PCGS CAC value is $975.00. This just seems way too cheap for a 149 year old obsolete GEM coin.
