Can’t say we have ever seen or handled many of these (in fact save for this coin when we sold it to JEU) we show no records of owning any others. The quality and eye appeal are incredible!
What a flashy little jewel. Borderline ULTRA DEEP mirrors are glassy, crystal clear, and flawless. Even with a powerful glass you can’t find anything wrong. There is some invisible gold in the center of the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck and do have strong frost. This is far superior to a dull or washed out piece. The eye appeal is tremendous!
Definitely the “sleeper date” in the series. There are NONE in 66 ULTRA CAMEO by either PCGS or NGC. PCGS 4, NGC 7. Only PCGS has graded one higher. If you are building an quality oriented set, then this is the coin you want for sure!
