3CN 1881 PCGS PR68

Generally, we do not see these with much pizzazz. This coin stood out to us instantly. It has a really fresh crisp look.

Strong mirrors beam boldly from all over. The mirrors offer strong clarity and are extremely clean. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly made sheet of glass. You actually get a full cartwheel luster effect. Both sides are a totally original nickel/pale blue/pale lilac color. Miss Liberty and the details are lightly frosted and stand out with sharp strikes. The eye appeal is especially gorgeous!

PCGS 5, NGC 9, CAC 2. Prior to this coin selling, the last auction sale for an 1881 PCGS PR68 3CN (NO CAC) was from 2006! We think that speaks volumes about its rarity.

if you are a contrarian, this is a coin you really need to add to your collection. PR 3CN’s have been weak the last couple years to the point they are probably too cheap. You could even include a SUPERB piece like this in a box of 20. Opportunity could not know any louder here!
