3CS 1857 PCGS MS66 EX SIMPSON

A duplicate from the all time FINEST MS Set! This particular coin had been purchased for the set back in the 1990s. Legend wouldn’t buy just any coin for the #1 set it was building, the coin had to be the finest, and until now it was (we replaced it with a wildly colored PCGS/CAC MS67).

Absolutely FLAWLESS surfaces have no hidden ticks or giggles, and the smooth surfaces emit a strong luster. This coin is untoned and we do NOT think it has ever been dipped. We still see lots of ORIGINAL skin. Every detail has a pinpoint sharp strike and the eye appeal is fabulous!
